about upgig.
When a UK gig is cancelled or moved, fans get their ticket money back but usually lose the train and the hotel. Upgig is built to stop that.
What Upgig does
- Free alerts. Follow a gig and we email you the moment it's cancelled, postponed or moves venue, so you can cancel what you've booked before the deadline.
- Book smart. Our trip planner shows places to stay and ways to get there, and points you to rates you can cancel yourself.
- Plain-English guides to what you can and can't get back. See the guides.
- Coming next: the Gig Pass. A year's cover for the travel and stay you can't get refunded, priced by how many gigs you go to. It would be provided by a UK insurer authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Not on sale yet: join the waitlist.
How Upgig makes money
Alerts and guides are free. When you book a stay or travel through links on Upgig, the provider may pay us a commission. It doesn't change your price, and it doesn't change what we recommend: we point you to bookings you can cancel, even when they pay us less. We don't sell tickets: you buy them from the official seller.
Who's behind it
Upgig is run by Adherence Digital Limited, a UK digital marketing company. Get in touch at hello@upgig.co.uk.
Gig listings and alerts use Ticketmaster data; the venue list in our trip planner comes from Wikidata. The stay map is provided by Stay22.
