privacy.
We keep as little as we can, only for as long as we need it.
Who we are
Upgig is run by Adherence Digital Limited (company no. 08847581), which is responsible for your data. Contact: hello@upgig.co.uk.
What we store and why
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Gig alerts: your email and the gig you follow | To email you if that gig is cancelled, postponed or moves. You confirm by email first. Lawful basis: your consent | Deleted automatically after the gig (allowing a day for late changes), or when you click "stop alerts" |
| Waitlist: your email, the offer you saw, and any survey answers you give | To tell you when Upgig cover launches and to understand demand. Lawful basis: your consent | Until launch, or until you ask us to delete it. Deleted if Upgig doesn't launch |
| Anonymous survey answers (if you answer without signing up) | To understand demand | Not linked to you |
| Page visits: which page, when, and the campaign link you came from (e.g. utm tags) | To measure which adverts and pages work | No IP address, name or cookie is stored with it |
Who helps us
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the data above.
- Resend sends our emails.
- Stay22 runs the hotel map in the trip planner. If you use it, Stay22 and the booking sites it links to handle your search and booking under their own privacy policies, and may use cookies.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces, so your browser contacts Google when pages load.
- Travelpayouts (temporary): a script on some pages confirms to this affiliate network that we own the site. Its automatic features are switched off.
We don't sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing.
Cookies
Upgig itself sets no cookies and uses no tracking or advertising cookies. The Stay22 map, and any booking site you click through to, may set their own cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time: email hello@upgig.co.uk. Every alert email has a link to stop alerts. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
