The O2, London: hotels, the Jubilee line and parking
The O2 is out on the Greenwich peninsula, but North Greenwich station on the Jubilee line is about 350m from the doors, five minutes on foot. The O2 says it's 20 minutes from central London and 10 from Stratford.
Other ways in
The Uber Boat by Thames Clippers stops at North Greenwich Pier, and the IFS Cloud Cable Car comes over the river from the Royal Docks. Both are slower than the Tube, and both are the better story to tell afterwards. Several bus routes also stop at North Greenwich.
Driving
Event parking is Car Park 1, and you can pre-book it up to midnight the day before. Booking at least three weeks out gets the early-bird price. As listed on 3 October 2026, that's £29.39 against £35.28 for a standard pre-booked space, and £40 if you just turn up. The postcode is SE10 0DX. If someone's collecting you, the free drop-off and pick-up point is in Car Park 1, off Millennium Way.
Where to stay
Only one hotel is properly next door: the InterContinental London The O2, 0.1 miles away by Google's count. After that, Google lists:
- 0.4 miles: Radisson Blu Canary Wharf East.
- 0.6 to 0.8 miles: Travelodge London Docklands Central, TRIBE Canary Wharf, Holiday Inn Express Greenwich, Crowne Plaza Docklands.
- 1.1 to 1.4 miles: Novotel Canary Wharf, Premier Inn Canary Wharf (Westferry).
Google's distances are as the crow flies, and The O2 is on a bend of the Thames, so most of the Canary Wharf and Docklands hotels are across the water. That's less of a problem than it sounds: Canary Wharf is the next stop on the Jubilee line. Book a rate you can cancel, so a moved date doesn't cost you the room. See which rates you can cancel.
Getting home
The O2's own advice is to plan the route home on TfL's Journey Planner before the show. The Night Tube runs on some lines at weekends, so check whether yours is one of them before you count on it.
