OVO Hydro, Glasgow: getting there and staying over
The OVO Hydro is on the Scottish Event Campus by the River Clyde, west of Glasgow city centre.
Getting there
- Train: Exhibition Centre station is the closest, a few minutes' walk from the arena along a covered walkway. Low-level trains from Glasgow Central take about seven minutes, two stops.
- Walking: from Glasgow Central it's about 1.3 miles, around 25 minutes.
- Trains into Glasgow: Central serves the west coast main line (London, Manchester, Birmingham); Queen Street serves Edinburgh and the north.
- After the show: queues for Exhibition Centre build at the end of big shows; walking back to the centre is often as quick.
Staying over
- Hotels around Finnieston and the SEC are the closest; the city centre near Central has the most choice.
- Pick a room you can cancel: which rates you can cancel.
- Coming from England? An Off-Peak return can be refunded until the night before. See train and coach tickets.
